From June 1 to June 10, 2025, the Federal Ministry of Youth Development has officially started collecting bank account details for the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Empowerment Programme, also known as YEIDEP. This comes just after registration ended on May 31, 2025, with more than 5 million Nigerian youths applying for the program.
This confirms that the process has now moved from planning to action. The payment and training phase has officially started.
